Assessing the Job Before We Touched a Thing

The Cleaning Process

The interior walls, door seals, hinges and easily overlooked corners were cleaned in stages, letting each treatment sit long enough to loosen the grime before it was wiped away.

The Care We Take

Freezer interiors are plastic, not steel, so anything too abrasive or too harsh chemically can scratch or discolour the surface permanently. We test products on a small area first, work in the direction of the plastic grain, and take extra time around door seals and electrical components, since a damaged seal affects the appliance's efficiency long after we've left. It's slower than a rushed clean, but it's the difference between a freezer that looks clean and one that's actually been looked after.

Protecting What's Around It

A deep clean like this isn't just about the appliance. We lay down protective sheeting on flooring, keep cables and sockets clear of moisture, and work carefully around anything positioned nearby — worktops, walls, other appliances — so nothing else in the room is put at risk during the process.

The Handover
